my last AIESEC party before traineeship

This was my last party before leaving in Poland. It was absolutly a great atmosphere and loads of fun. There were 4 things being celebrated: The new members in AIESEC Targu Mures joining the organization, Romeo's birthday, Dorina's birthday and... they celebrate my traineeship realization as well. It's a funny feeling when someone celebrate your leaving... I mean they were glad that I'll be gone :)
We were drinking bear and vodka, and after dancing a lot AIESEC dances I was asked to hold a speach and to perform a roll call... So I did it :) I want to thank Alexandra for offering herself volunteer for this.
Only romanian will understand these words :)) They are too embarrassing to be written in english.
"Senorita, cauta-ma sub buric
Bikineii coboara-i un pic
Treci in patru labe ca m-am incalzit
Te invit... suie-te pe cric! "
We were good, I think I have some talent :)
All in all, everibody had a good time
I just wait for the next one! ;)
In the picture, I was expressing all my love too Mihai, one of my old friends. It was ok, Diana forgived me...

The visa story

I was so exited!!! I received the documents. "Finaly I will go to Bucharest to get my visa for Poland!!! " Yupeeee!!!

I went to the hitchhiking place in Targu Mures around midnight. It was so cold!!! -3 degrees. A transporter van stoped and give me a lift to Brasov. I was lucky because I had to wait only for 2 minutes and a lorry picked me for a ride to Bucharest. After a long way, we finaly arrived in Bucharest at 10 o'clock in the morning and I run to the Polish Embasy to aply for the visa.

First shock: It looked like I didn't have the necessary papers for the visa. I rushed to the AIESEC Bucharest office to get access to the Insight XP and I called to Embasy, giving the contacts from AIESEC Targu Mures, AIESEC in Bialystok, TN manager from Bison-Bial, Marketing manager from Bison-Bial. Mr Nikonowicz sent very quickly the missing papers and I received the visa after 2 hours. A really good turn around, because usualy the visa is received after 2 weeks after application! So I was very lucky because the Polish Embasy personel was proactive and helped me.

I was tired and I decided to take a train back to Brasov. After that I went to the hitchhiking place in Brasov, "near the bridge". After 5 minutes a lorry picked me and took me to Targu Mures. After the whole adventure and having lack of sleep I was... completely exhausted!

I slept next day until 5 o clock in the evening.

My traineeship story

As so other many things in my life, this traineeship was born out of an accident. I was looking in the AIESEC database for a company for my girlfriend when I saw this one... TN-In-PL-BI-2006-1311... The JD was marketing research for a company that makes metal cutting machines pieces. It was like a dream... it was so similar to... ME. Although I planed a traineeship outside Romania only in summer 2007, I decided to take this one in October 2006 because I found it close related with my experience and I need it as a future step in my career.
I was in a moment when I had to take big decisions. I knew that I will graduate the University in autumn, I had a good job, but I felt that I want something else, something more challenging.
What can be more challenging for a recent graduate that an international working experience in the field that I studied in university? :)
So, I decided that I will leave to Bialystok on 28th of October for 3 intense months. Looking forward to meeting the Bison-Bial employees and the AIESEC in Bialystok members, they will be my second family in Poland :).
