Romanian Evening. Level II
I just had to write this, 'cause it was a very nice Romanian evening, like every Romanian AIESEC intern should have.
What happened?
The guests were Erasmus students from Italy, a trainee from Brasil and AIESECers form Lisboa Catolica, Portugal. We were only 8 people, but it was a very quality evening.
The was arranged nice with the Romanian flag, brochures about Romania, about Cluj Napoca and Transylvania as well, small traditional things from Romania like Easter painted eggs, "martisoare", small Oas country hat, etc.
The presentation started with a small movie about Romania and after that Diana started an interactive ppt presentation, answering at their questions in the same time.
After that we re-arranged the place very quickly so we could eat the Romanian traditional dish that Diana prepared for us.
The feast couldn't began without a small tuica doze of course... :) It was a top quality one! It was so funny to see Paolo from Italy with his face changing few colors, until it was all red :)) Yeah... this is what's happening when you drink it for the first time! He looked like a kind of virgin, loosing his innocence! :))
Our stomachs were ready for the delicious 'mamaliga' with cheese and cream, cabbage rolls and pancakes. It was so nice to see our guests asking for more! :)
You can imagine what had happen after that... a Beaches Beaches session and also other AIESEC funny games. I noticed that Portuguese wine is very strong! Myam Myam... :)
The people invited were satisfied! I think we will participate at this kind of evenings in the future, Marcos, the brasilian trainee promised a brasilian barbeque :) Also, Maria Grazia, an Erasmus student asked Diana to give her the pan-cakes recipee. She received it in her native language, becouse Diana speakes fluently Italian.
Here are Tiago (LCP), Marcos, Diana and Ze (VP Fin)
This is why I'm saying that every AIESEC trainee should have such an evening, with real impact for the guests. I think it was the best Romanian Evening I participate at.
